QUALITY:
1. The rattan SOLIS uses are of the highest quality man-made fiber called PE rattan, which is made from 99.8% Polyethylene and 0.2% Ash. This kind of rattan is UV resistant and waterproof, and the rattan is through dyed, you can fix it by applying heat when it gets scratches, it is durable and the color will never fade, also it is not sensitive to temperature fluctuations.
2. The fabric and sponge inside are all waterproof. The sponge we use for our products is a density of 40 which ensures the durability,but usually,others will use 20.
3. Most importantly is the frame, others construct the frame with 1.0mm thick aluminum, while SOLIS products are constructed with 1.2mm & 1.5mm thick tube, which makes it VERY DURABLE. They then powder coat their frames to protect against corrosion and becomes virtually indestructible once it has been woven over with rattan. A step most skip to reduce cost.
CUSHIONS are flush to the frame for better design and aesthetics. The PE rattan used will withstand warping, aging & UV radiation. The main structure is made with aluminum tube, which is light yet strong.
